Let the games begin: Charleston Tiger football players, Kolby Holmes, left, and Jordan Akers, look over their 17 inch, 10 pound pizza as they get ready for the start of the Pinnacle Communication-Steffey’s Pizza, “Pizza Challenge,” that was held at Steffey’s Pizza in Lavaca the night of November 3, 2008. The two teams each had 30 minutes to consume as much of the pizza as possible. After the contest the remaining pizza was weighed to determine the winner. Kolby and Jordan won the challenge. Pinnacle Communications will provide the Tigers football team with pizza. The two teams will meet on the football field this Friday night with the top seed in the 3A-1 on the line.
